Haiku From My Sandwich Shop

My current jam-sandwich-wise-is The Spartan, at my local sandwich
shop. They're just so perky. I love that.

Mustard and bacon a'plenty
My mouth rejoices

I've often felt like I need to apologize or explain my haiku. But then I tell myself that no one needs to explain why they find something pretty; the eye of the beholder, and all that.

Salty, savory
Haven't had enough lately
Bacon, I miss you
